We are currently seeking an enterprising freelancer to contribute regularly from the Caucasus. Ideally the person would be based in Yerevan and focus on covering the post-revolution transition in Armenia. It's an important, continually developing story that few publications are covering in depth, so it's an opportunity for a resourceful, rigorous journalist to make a mark. The ideal candidate would have a record of quality reporting and speak Russian and/or Armenian. The position is freelance but we will pay a stipend for regular contributions. Interested candidates should mail Turkey/Caucasus Editor Joshua Kucera (firstname.lastname@example.org) and Managing Editor David Trilling (email@example.com) with clips, a resume, and ideas about how he or she would cover the Armenian transition.
